Tend Terms & Current TEND Status

These terms describe the current Tend application and its digital-wellbeing accounting system.

Current TEND Status

TEND currently has no monetary value. It cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, withdrawn, exchanged, redeemed, or treated as an investment.

Referral bonuses are provisional in-app rewards. Referrals qualify only after backend-confirmed activity and anti-abuse checks. A qualified referral gives the inviter a 10% mining-rate and daily-cap boost for 30 days and gives the invited user the same boost for 7 days. Active referral boosts are capped at 50%, require actual eligible mining, do not reduce burn, and cannot be restarted through account recovery. Tend may reject or reverse self-referrals, shared-device referrals, automated activity, duplicate accounts, or other manipulation. Referral multipliers never override global daily emission or maximum-supply limits.

Mining And Burning

Mining and burning are product terms for automatic digital-wellbeing accounting. Mining is not cryptocurrency computation, payment, or an award for completing tasks. Burning records app usage under Tend's published rules. TEND balances, rates, and supply figures are app-accounting records only.

No Wallet Or Blockchain

The current application has no wallet or blockchain functionality. Any future cryptocurrency plans would be separate from the current application, are not promised, and would require separate terms and eligibility.

Optional Ads

Optional support ads may unlock a local supporter badge only. Ads do not award TEND, change mining or burn rates, affect token eligibility, or create any cash, transferable, or financial reward.

Testing Resets

During pre-release testing, balances, streaks, achievements, proof records, app settings, users, or backend data may be reset. Public-release account data will be handled under the current Privacy Policy and these Terms.

Fair Use

Users must not try to fake usage data, automate false mining, tamper with proof records, bypass burn rules, or abuse the sync system.

Permissions

Android Usage Access and iOS Screen Time authorization are optional, but Tend needs the applicable permission to calculate mining and burn sessions. Notifications are optional. Without required activity permission, Tend may not mine, burn, sync, or show accurate progress.
